Donations General Terms

Donations to ONE80TC of $2 and over may be tax deductible and a receipt will be issued by us. Ongoing monthly donations are tax deductible and will be receipted at the end of the financial year.

Disputes and Refunds
All complaints, grievances and disputes will be treated seriously, quickly and in a timely manner, having due regard to procedural fairness and confidentiality. All parties are required to participate in the dispute resolution process in good faith. If you believe that there has been an error with your donation, you should notify us directly on 1800 679 657 and confirm that notice in writing or by email to info@one80tc.org as soon as possible so that we can resolve your query quickly. Any issues should be directed to ONE80TC in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you can still refer it to your financial institution which will obtain details of the disputed transaction and may lodge a claim on your behalf.

 

Monthly Donations

Your obligations
It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account. You should check your account statement to verify that the amounts debited from your account are correct.

 

Changes and Cancellations
We may vary details of your agreement or a direct debit request at any time by giving you at least 14 days written notice.

If you wish to cancel, defer or alter a debit payment you must notify us by calling 1800 679 657 at least 14 days before the next donation day.

 

Online shopping and Event bookings general terms and methods of payment

All website bookings and orders must be paid by VISA or MasterCard. The cost of recovering any default of payments will be borne by the customer. The goods remain the property of ONE80TC until full payment is received.

Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to rectify prices quoted on our website.

Ride for HOPE Terms and Conditions

Rider's Agreement to Fundraise

  • By registering as a participant in the Ride for HOPE each rider acknowledges that they are required to raise funds for ONE80TC to the minimum value as outlined in the registration form, this value is set by ONE80TC and can only be reduced by ONE80TC.
  • If minimum fundraising target is not met by the date of the event ONE80TC reserves the right to refuse entry and no refund of registration fee or of donations.

Registration Entry Fee (non-refundable) is required to reserve your booking. 

  • ONE80TC, also known as The Event Organisers reserve the right to reject any entry or issue special invitations. (In the event of an applicant not being accepted or is rejected, their entry fee will be refunded.)
  • All cyclists are to raise a minimum target as displayed in the registration process and advised on the event page. This is in addition to registration.
  • The registration fee offsets the cost of accommodation for riders and their partners, rider apparel, catering during the event and on road support including support vehicles, road marshals, bike mechanic. Additional guests are to be paid for and attendance is subject to availability.
  • Cyclists confirmed in the event who wish to withdraw, must do so in writing to the event office by emailing events@one80tc.org. As mentioned above, the entry fee is not refundable.
  • Credit card or direct deposit is required in full when registering to secure your booking. 
  • All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • The official online Entry Form must be completed and the full waiver agreed to by each intending cyclist before the entry is complete. A medical certificate is required from all cyclists over sixty (60) years of age or where there are any pre-existing medical conditions.
  • ONE80TC reserves the right to adjust the event entry price (no additional charges will be applied to competitors already entered in the event).
  • Entrants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by parent or legal guardian, and be accompanied at all times during the event by nominated guardian.
  • Cyclists must inform the event organiser of spouse and family attending the event at the time of registration. The Event Organiser endeavours to ensure spouse and family requirements are catered for subject to availability and pre agreed cost

Volunteers

  • Volunteers acknowledge that by volunteering they are not automatically entitled to accommodation & catering on the Friday & Saturday night.
  • Volunteers acknowledge that they are subject to the authority of the events staff for the duration of the day & they are to follow all directions as provided to them by the event directorial staff.
  • Volunteers will obey and adhere to all NSW traffic rules and sign age, as well as follow the direction of NSW Police, Fire or Ambulance service personnel.
